The "In the Paddock at Racetrim" blog series communicates what I'm working on and where the platform is going.

ACC on 5 Continents

cloud regions

The last three months have brought feature deliveries that allow Assetto Corsa Competizione players to launch three tiers of high-quality ACC race servers into eight world-wide cloud regions.

Two new High-performance server options were added:

  • Standard (pub lobbies + practice)
  • HP0 | 2 CPU Core | 8GiB RAM NEW
  • HP1 | 4 CPU Core | 16GiB RAM NEW

Six additional cloud regions were brought online:

  • Australia East (Sydney) NEW
  • Asia South (Mumbai) NEW
  • EU Central (Frankfurt) NEW
  • EU West (Ireland) NEW
  • EU West (London)
  • South America (São Paulo) NEW
  • US East (Ohio) NEW
  • US West (Oregon)

$6 USD Discounts

At first checkout, a $6 USD discount is applied to let you try a standard server for up to 7 days. The best way to support Racetrim's continued development is to race with us! Email will@racetrim.pro with any questions about pricing. In early development, I am open to offering additional discounts to people for using the platform, stretching it, and providing constructive feedback. Let's work something out!

Entry Lists & BOPs

Entry lists are now easy to manage and reuse across ACC server settings. Entry lists enable players to set car models, driver swaps, auto-promote server admins, and to restrict players by their STEAM ID. BOP configurations will follow soon. I have the BOP data model complete, and should finish working on the UI in the coming month. I plan to allow syncing BOPs with popular community created BOPs, to help players keep them up to date with the latest lap time data. Stay tuned!

Online ACC Server Browser

With permission from Jonatan Wackström, I have enhanced the Racetrim UI with data from the API at https://acc-status.jonatan.net/. Each server has an individualized page with information about that server. Racetrim servers highlight Racetrim-specific information like their region, server type, run status, and last restart time. If you're the owner of a Racetrim server, you're able to change settings and restart the server in seconds from our UI.

server page

This page now serves as a home base for server, and will eventually branch out to more server specific features like session results, data, statistics, and visualizations.

Platform Growth

  • Total number of users: 4
  • Total servers launched: 6
  • Total settings saved: 6

Looking Ahead - Session Results

Every racetrim server should show a list of its past sessions where you can view and export result summaries, lap times, and data visualizations about the session. These pages should be publicly linkable and shareable. This feature set is where I plan to put all of my development energy in the next few months. I'm thrilled with how far this app has come in 2025, and I'm excited to finally be ready to work on the ideas I've been thinking about for nearly a year!

League organizers need to be able to access and keep record of their races, while casual players may also want to review and analyze their individual results. I think it would be cool if players could search a record of all race results run on Racetrim servers, as well as search for all race results related to an individual driver. My hope is that working on these features moves us closer to achieving the following outcomes.

  1. Racetrim is the complete package for server administration and league organizers.
  2. Shareable links bring players to Racetrim, leading to more sign-ups.
  3. Race results open up development for advanced data exploration, visualization, and ELO rankings.
  4. Accrued session data opens up opportunities to offer valuable features to individual drivers.

Thank you for reading! Thank you for racing with us! I hope to see you on the grid!
